With Ermitage Kalone, this embryo combines one of the most exciting young sires of today with a proven French performance dam line. The son of Catoki out of a Kannan mare has established himself as one of the notable names in modern show jumping breeding and has already proven his quality at the highest international level under Gilles Thomas. His offspring are beginning to demonstrate the highly valued qualities of his genetics, including scope, technique and a strong attitude towards the fences. The dam, Cattleya Plassay, contributes valuable French performance blood through Ogano Sitte and Ideal de la Loge. The combination of these two lines unites modern international sport genetics with proven French show jumping heritage. Cattleya Plassay was herself successful at 1.50 m level and is sister to three further international performers. Her third dam has produced seven licensed stallions as well as eight sport horses successful at 1.45 m level and above.
