With Carthago at the top of the pedigree, this embryo combines one of the most influential stallion lines in modern show jumping breeding. The Holsteiner stallion enjoyed an outstanding international career under Jos Lansink, competing among the world’s elite for many years and representing his country at two Olympic Games. As a son of Capitol I out of a Calando I mare, Carthago left a lasting impact on international breeding, producing numerous top-level performers and successful breeding stallions. The dam, Quebec Odeveld, is a granddaughter of the internationally renowned broodmare Cordula de Laubry, whose influence through her offspring has shaped modern show jumping breeding. As dam and granddam of numerous successful sport horses, she established her reputation through championship performers such as Brooklyn Heights, Global and Lector van den Bisschop. She is also the granddam of Emanuele Camilli’s Olympic partner Odense Odeveld, who is out of the same dam as Quebec Odeveld.
