With Kannan as sire, this embryo carries the blood of one of the most influential stallions in modern show jumping breeding. The son of Voltaire was himself successful at international level and has proven his exceptional ability as a sire through numerous top performers, including Nino des Buissonnets, Quabri de l’Isle and Paille de la Roque. The dam, Quebec Odeveld, is a granddaughter of Cordula de Laubry, one of the world’s most influential broodmares through her offspring. As a dam and granddam of numerous international performers, she established her reputation through championship horses such as Brooklyn Heights, Global and Lector van den Bisschop. She is also the granddam of Emanuele Camilli’s Olympic partner Odense Odeveld, who shares the same dam as Quebec Odeveld. An embryo combining outstanding performance genetics with one of the most successful damlines in modern show jumping breeding.
The recipient mare shall not form part of the subject matter of the purchase agreement and shall remain the property of the Auctioneer. The recipient mare shall be made available to the Purchaser exclusively for the purpose of carrying the embryo until the birth of the foal, subject to payment of a rental fee of EUR 3,500 plus applicable statutory VAT.
